After touching a mysterious black scroll, book conservator Emily is haunted by nightmares of a grieving man under a scarlet moon. That man is Alexander, a vampire cursed for 300 years, who tracks her down by her soul's scent. Believing she is his reincarnated love and the "pure-blooded cure" to his curse, he forces her into his manor to restore ancient texts in exchange for clues about her missing parents.
