Ariana, a girl from the slums, shares a one-night stand with Damien, heir to the powerful Black family, only to discover her mother has married his father—making them step-siblings. While Damien is bound to his family's chosen fiancée Britney, mafia boss Lucas becomes obsessed with Ariana after she once saved his life, and her family pressures her into marrying him. When Ariana gets pregnant, Damien wrongly believes he is infertile and rejects her; after a DNA test proves the truth, they plan to run away, but are repeatedly thwarted by their families and rivals. At the engagement banquet, Moretti matriarch Ava reveals Ariana as her long-lost biological daughter and rightful heir, voiding the marriage to Lucas. Ariana's abusive foster father is killed, and Britney is punished. Six months later, Damien and Ariana settle in Greece with their baby, finally at peace.
