Hockey star Kaelen proposes on ice. Jealous Isolde drives into Lia—Kaelen is gravely injured saving her. Lia donates a kidney to save him, but Isolde fakes a cruel farewell letter and forces her away.
Awakened, Kaelen believes Lia abandoned him. Heartbroken, Lia is diagnosed with leukemia and leaves for Switzerland.
Five years later, Lia returns as a chauffeur, drowning in debt. Kaelen, now a superstar, mistakes her for a gold-digger and hires her as his humiliated personal assistant. She silently endures his hatred and Isolde's abuse—until she throws herself in front of a car to protect him. The doctor reveals the truth: Lia was his kidney donor all along.
Isolde is arrested. Kaelen declares Lia his fiancée. A year later, she escapes from the Swiss hospital to his rink—and they kiss on the ice, vowing to spend every remaining moment together.
