Raven is handed over by her father as a “gift” to mafia don Lorenzo. When she arrives at his estate, the perpetually cold blooded Lorenzo shows no concern for her, allowing the household staff to bully her freely.
But Raven is no easy target. She cleverly fends off the servants’ repeated acts of malice. Her grit gradually tugs at the heart of the ruthless, murder hardened Lorenzo.
Just as their romance begins to blossom, Lorenzo uncovers that Cassian, Raven’s childhood sweetheart, has been devising plans to take her away. A tense showdown brews between the two men.
At the same time, Trisha, Lorenzo’s long time unrequited love, comes back to New York. Overcome with jealousy toward Raven, the new woman by Lorenzo’s side, she sets trap after trap to destroy her.
Determined to protect Raven, Lorenzo risks his life and is willing to abandon all his power. It is then that Raven realizes her true feelings. The pair confess their love and officially become lovers.
Cassian, her childhood companion, chooses to step aside silently and offer his blessings, leading to a satisfying happy ending for all.
